The Sacramento Cactus and Succulent Society (SCSS) is a local community of cactus and succulent enthusiasts. Like prickly plants? Then join us!
The SCSS is an affiliate of the Cactus and Succulent Society of America (CSSA).

The SCSS meets every fourth Monday at the Shepard Garden & Arts Center in McKinley Park (except December). Doors open at 6:15 pm.

Our annual Show & Sale is held the first weekend of May. The next show will be from May 1 to 3, 2026. This is the biggest succulent event of its kind in the Sacramento area. Don’t miss it!

Our monthly newsletter, Thorny Issues, keeps you up to date on the latest events.
